PocketKnife Money (“the App”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data — by not collecting it.

1. No Data Collection

PocketKnife Money does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. Specifically:

• We do not track usage behavior, device information, or user identity.
• We do not use analytics, advertising, or cloud-based user accounts.
• All data you enter (budgets, goals, watchlists) is stored exclusively on your device using local storage and never leaves it.

2. Third-Party Services

The Stock Tracker feature makes network requests to Yahoo Finance (unofficial, no account required) and optionally Finnhub (if you choose to enter your own personal API key). These requests contain only the stock ticker symbol you search for — no user-identifiable information is ever sent. Your Finnhub API key, if provided, is stored only on your device and is never transmitted to us.

3. Location Data

PocketKnife Money does not request access to your device’s location and never transmits location data to us or any third party.

4. Children’s Privacy

PocketKnife Money is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal data from anyone.

5. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in functionality or legal requirements. Updates will be posted within the App and/or on our support page.
